“Today we are going to hit 440 Leatherworking.”

“And why not?”
“Because I’m not going to let you blow a couple hundred gold on Arctic Furs.”
“Brain, we have no orange patterns. We’re at 439. The only yellow pattern for which we have mats is Icescale Leg Armor. We have lots of scales, but no Arctic Furs. Someone on the AH put up a bunch for 30 gold each.”
“30 gold, BRK?”
“Yes. Normally they’ve been selling for 50-80 gold, but this guy chucked a ton of them up at a good discount.”
“BRK?”
“Yes brain?”
“You may buy two furs.”
“Really?”
“Yes. Buy two, make the armor kit, get your Leatherworking to 400, then make your cloak.”

yah i did about the same thing and i got lucky and had to buy 10 for 335-340 (the 330-335 for me was the pvp blue belt mats were cheaper)

Yeah engineering would be interesting.
But i fear that would cause brain to implement tactics involving physical pain. The kind not covered by the Bigredkittyworldwideamalgamated health care plan.
It’s always that last freaking skill point that’s the biggest pain in the rear.
Hopefully Brain would be aware enough to dissuade BRK from doing something that stupid.
Was 350 Dragonscale LW. Dropped it for engineering and Jumper Cables. Got to 350, hated it. Started LW all over again. Farming Eternal Airs for the Giantmaim pieces now…
With my DK, I went Skinning/Mining so I could keep Engineering on Xanth and pick LWing back up. Sorry BRK, but Engineering Goggles rock too much to drop for LW/Skinning.
Too bad I dropped mining so early though… WTB more Cobalt bars to level. >< I’m only a few away from my spiffy Truesight Ice Blinders! Well, plus the mats for those goggles…
