Thanks BRK! Love to get ahold of that database! LOL! I just finally got the Drake Mounted Crossbow last night, and I tamed one of the kitties that LOOK like Loq as a “Booby Prize”, but he is the next goal on my list.
Do you recommend picking a spawn point and just sitting there all day, or flying around?

I called him Loki after the god of deceit and trickery for evading me so long.
Thats where I also found mine. I still havent named him yet.
I flew around and hit all the spawn points each time I logged in and between instances etc etc etc.. basically spent as much time in the basin as I could.
I also use the /target loq as a macro quick bound to my keys.. of course I freaked when she finally was targeted. BTW.. do NOT dismount way up in the air like I did… the time it took to bandage and pop a health pot was HIGHLY stressful. Set the trap and stand on it. She will jump into you, youll take 1 or 2 hits before she freezes then its all good.

Question: does he show up as a beast on your mini-map? I mean even before you have targeted him with a macro?
Sweet, so I get an extra leather when I farm those gorillas and this shiny pidgey happens to spawn!
I hadn’t known about this spot until a few days ago. I added it to my patrol. the past few nights.
However, I am happy to say I finally tamed Loque this morning near Skyreach Pillar after nearly 2 weeks of searching. Krush had been there 12 hrs earlier and I was hoping for a shot at solo taming him. This was a much better surprise though!
@Mahis , Cursed Offspring of Har’koa, basically I’m using Loqs child until I can tame him.
I’m still trying when I can, I work 8 to 5 central, so Im normally beat in the evenings and sleeping in the morning. Someday I will have him.
Tamed him this morning about 1.5 hours after server reset. The location was 71, 73.
Now to start leveling him for heroics!

Actually according to lore, Loque’nahak is female. She is the mate of Mate of Har’koa.
My bad, you are correct Har’koa is the female and Loque’nahak is her mate.

The Spirit Beast will have the same stats as any other Ferocity pet of the same level prior to you speccing into Greater Stamina and such. All pets have been normalized within each family (Ferocity, Tenacity, Cunning) so the only differences are the special abilities.
Spirit Beast has Spirit Strike, that although is not working as well as it should, does alright. It’s not a min/max sort of pet, but rather a “that’s SO cool” pet. It may in the next patch, or the one after that, have better damage. I’ve heard it said that exotic pets will have better stats in the future than other pets, but we’ll see how that goes.
