The Top Ten BRK-Reader Submitted Hunter Achievements!
Lots of duplicate ideas, lots of silliness, and over 300 submissions. We’re sorry we can’t publish them all.
Judging was based on:
- How much it looked like a real achievement
- Hunter-specificness
- Spelling and grammar always counts
- Text placement; no stuff running off the graphic
- Coolness of picture (work on your pictures, got it?)
- Everything else that isn’t quantifiable
And there are more than ten. It’s out blog, so it’s our rules, and our prerogative to break them as we see fit.

1. Hands down; there’s no argument. This achievement has everything.

I’d have Cat Fight and there is a hunter that killed Loque’nahak on my server, as a Beast Master…. I call bot , since he didn’t respond to my pleading and seems to only sell hundreds of stacks of leather….
About the Survival Trap segment, ive had a idea where i could assign every trap (snake, Immiolate, Explosive, Frost, Freezing) to one of my Non combat pets. (Eggbert) Than send it running suicidal at the target much like the Explosive Sheep that engineers can make. Also the idea of ever trap on a seperate CD with this idea.

I should have posted “Misdirect a non-tank in the raid and have them survive, but two or more other people die”.
(Happened in BT once, I MD’d a holy paly as a joke, two people got killed by a Bonechewer Behemoth because they we’re too busy laughing to avoid the charge/meteor.)

I’ve gotten both 5a and 5b. I coined the term ‘butt pull’ with my old guild when I tried a devilsaur and my new guild absolutely hates my wasp of doom.
I have done more of these than I care to admit.

I’ve just successfully completed Rhok and Roll this past week! I was the only hunter on a MC run, ran Onyxia right after and got the sinew. Completed the quest chain the next day.
I earned 5b
I think I allmost got the meta-achivement for doing them all ; )
The submission period was too short, darnit!

Done 2b… was back in the Kara days and we were at maiden when i got a lag spike right at teh entrance which I didn’t notice, ran into position across the room by hugging the walls and suddenly noticed that my pet wasn’t there… Then I noticed that everyone else was frozen due to lag and had time to spot my pet past maiden at the other side of the room right as everyone unfroze…
FD like mad and watch maiden take out everyone else :p

Awesome! I can’t believe I was #1. HAHAHA… I remember seeing this done early during TBC and had to do it myself. Those Fel Reavers were nasty. They even ended up having to buff A’Dal becaus eof all the shenanigans with Fel Reavers. And yes all 3 could be kited, but that was many many patches ago. Some of you may no l;onger qualify for the Achievy =)
