pjs

PJs Coffee in Eustis, FL. We only stopped there because, after a lovely late-lunch with our guildie the resto druid, we wanted a raspberry latte to sip on the drive back to Orlando.

They did a fabulous job! And so, they get some link-love.

@Tom: If you really thought his podcasts were awesome, you would have listened to the last one and gotten your answer.

    Also, yay coffee!

So sad. Looks like a nice place, and you go in there and desecrate perfectly good coffee with raspberry!

I know I comment about this every time you mention raspberry latte, but it is my duty to coffee to do so. Coffee should stand alone!

I have been to this coffee shop.

I have to agree with kunukia… coffee with raspberry? If you don’t want coffee then get something else and not this bastard concoction for people who don’t like coffee.

Coffee with raspberries sounds… interesting. Plus, that shop looks nice and warm… I’m tired of winter! :)

    Raspberry… in coffee?? guess that’s a thing to see before you’ll believe…

Whaat? you live in Orlando?? Jeez, If I’d known that I’d get an autograph from you while I was in Orlando for the Daytona 500 :P

oh and just for the record: flying from Norway (Gardermoen), to Frankfurt, to Washington to Orlando Int’l Airport kinda sucks… takes to long…

Nice to see my hometown get some props! YES! You can get raspberry coffee in Eustis! Mt. Dora also has some lovely quaint coffee shops downtown. Yay to promoting obscure places…

    True story:

My sister lived in Florida for a couple years, and since I got a vacation from work around the 4th of July I would go down and visit her then. One of our favorite places there was PJ’s, there was one right near where she lived. I would head over there while she worked, then she would join me when she got off. Good coffee and good times. :)

I normally get a Soy Latte, extra hot, and because it often comes at a temperature slightly lower than molten lava (is that a redundant phrase? Isn’t lava by definition molten? Otherwise it’s just rock…nvm) I usually wait until I’m back in my office before attempting to drink it, because sipping lava while walking usually results in seared lips.

So this one time I got back to my office, sat down, took a sip of my latte, and almost choked on it.

The guy had asked me what I’d ordered, and I’d told him Soy Latte. He’d repeated Soy Latte and handed the drink to me. But this was NOT a Soy Latte. I slid down the cardboard sleeve and saw I had Claire’s Hazelnut Latte.

It was then that I understood why Senior Agent Gibbs grabbed DiNozzo’s coffee (that would be the coffee with two sugars and a hazelnut) and took a swig as he walked away, only to return, without swallowing, and spew the mouthful of coffee into DiNozzo’s trash can, with the cup of coffee following behind.

I can only imagine what a Raspberry Latte must taste like, and you’re more than welcome to them, BRK.

    @ Sarai

It was only a little over one year(May 2006-July 2007), tho it did seem like it was longer sometimes.
But yea, that was my favorite place to go for free interwebs :D
(& raspberry totally goes with coffee, don’t knock it til ya try it, tho it is even better with mocha :D )
