“Yes. We’ve needed to sneeze ever since we hit ‘Ready’ on the ready-check.”

Nice…went well with my shift change that allows me to actually have time before dealing with my job. I can’t wait to tank content that involves such ridiculous concentration that sneezing causes half a raid to wipe. Sounds like big fun.
Quick somewhat unrelated question for BRK and the hunters out there…did your icons go all woogly last night around 1 a.m. Pacific? I logged on to my hunter alt and had the Ancona Chicken icon as my attack shortcut…among others. Strange…

thaddius is one of those fights… split-second timing requires more attention than i really want to provide during a farming run.
Eh
running straight through Thaddeus is fine, long as you do it immediately upon polarity shift. Nothing comes into effect for a few seconds. We do it all the time and no problems.
BRK – You owe me! I started laughing out loud by the midpoint and continued to the end … unfortunately recent jaw surgery makes it very painful to laugh (or talk, chew, swallow). Worth it though. Thaddius is fun though I missed the jump the first time there and had a heck of a time getting into the fight.
It may of earned me a few confused/concerend looks by my office mates, but that was worth the hysterical giggles.
You owe me a can of Iced tea though, and maybe a left lung.

It just got more and more funny… though I was getting flashbacks from Down Periscope’s “balls to the walls, boys!” scene at one point. 
I too knew where this was going, but was shocked when the point of death came from running THROUGH Thad. That isn’t a problem. In fact it’s the simplest way to do the fight. You have a grace period. No worrying about clockwise, counter-clockwise, and/or lost DPS to further travel time. Go right through each other til your stacked with your charge mates. You have like 5 seconds.
Now when you are asked to turn on aspect of the pack for the stragglers that can’t seem to make the jump without it….just make sure to turn it off when you get to Thad…DPS loss is big, and even bigger when you get dazed and killed because of it. No wipe…no ask…no tell though.

I experienced my first ever DC death on Thaddius last Friday evening. Granted, it didn’t matter, because we had at least three people who thought that “when your polarity changes, run through the boss to the other side” really meant “when the polarity changes, run around randomly like a complete fucking retard.”
And they did it every. single. time. Four wipes, completely flat learning curve.
Way to go BRK. Just another thanking you for brightening up a wintery morning. I find with DBM, Thaddius is a pretty easy fight, just run right through, turn around, and pew pew… Just gotta be sure your polarization changed…
Curtis; we usually get the Priests to put levitation on everybody when we jump, there’s plenty of time. Works for the goo around Patchwerk as well.

Sneezing in a dusty, half-demolished anteroom in Fallujah while you’re taking RPG fire and you have your M1 resting on a piece of broken brick looking out over the street — potentially deadly.
Sneezing on Thaddius, an easy video game boss in a cartoon MMO — shouldn’t even cause any friendly fire from the charges.
I’ve done the fight eight or nine times and WWS tells me the grand total of damage I’ve caused to the raid over all those attempts is 4,500. It’s hard to believe one ill-timed sneeze could be so catastrophic to a raid.
And you thought my pondering the speed of dark was effed up.
