Yes, Sarth 2D is done, first night trying. But so what! This pet-name blew our mind.

Does the Horde need more reasons to kill Night Elf hunters? Apparently so.

Actually, as an orc hunter I can honestly say gnomes would top our “crush, maim, and grind into the ground on sight” list with nelfs a close second.

  4. BadRubberPiggy on March 4th, 2009 10:28 pm

Shame it didnt say Whoseyourpally XD

  5. Gundersson on March 4th, 2009 10:42 pm

I’d kill Night elf hunters if I could… and I’m Alliance.

  6. Felandra on March 4th, 2009 10:45 pm

    “Whoseyourpally”

This and BRK makes it too much win for one page alone…

My eyes… my eyes… the goggles do nothing!

And yes, Gnomes top out Nelfs, unless the Nelf is a Hunter named Legololz or something idiotic like that. Same applies to Belf Hunters of the same name. Too bad Horde can’t kill those.

  7. Davlin on March 4th, 2009 11:10 pm

This picture rocks. Yay *blurredoutname* !

  8. cowsarepredatorstoo on March 4th, 2009 11:11 pm

it’s true that gnomes are top of the ” kill on sight then spawn camp for 2 weeks” list with nelfs close second but i have to say the nelf hunters on my server top no. 1 for me, cuz they all haz spirit beast!

  9. KC on March 4th, 2009 11:45 pm

Yeah, sorry. Gnomes are always the top Horde target. They’re so tiny and puntable.

  10. Nick S on March 4th, 2009 11:49 pm

I may have a big hairy girlfriend, but at least I didn’t roll a Nelf Hunter.

  11. Bluemain on March 5th, 2009 12:34 am

Theres an exception to every rule. not all nelf hunters are legololz wannabees. maybee a lesson from blizzard, judge the person not the race.

  12. Vera on March 5th, 2009 1:18 am

LOL that name is pretty funny… Grats on Sarth 2d!

  13. kunukia on March 5th, 2009 1:32 am

Haha. I too would kill NEs if I could. NO, my druid is NOT a Night Elf! She is a very tall Dwarf with long ears! (in order to avoid the ‘bounce’, I spend virtually all my time in forms.)

  14. Kohaku on March 5th, 2009 1:35 am

    ROFL ^_^

I offer a solution to gnomes. Cook the Small Feast, eat, then turn small, so you will be unclickable unless the enemy has the health bars visible… ^_^

  15. Rilgon Arcsinh on March 5th, 2009 3:58 am

Shame it didnt say Whoseyourpally XD

Pfft. Kongsecrate > Whoseyourpally. Biased? Yeah, but it’s god damn brilliant. :P

  16. Sevei - Anachronos EU on March 5th, 2009 4:43 am

lol nice name Rilgon :P I would kill Nelfs if I could but only the guys just cause, well, they are so fugly.

  17. Shootrmcgavn on March 5th, 2009 7:19 am

the most disturbing thing about this picture is that it appears to have been taken right outside of the OS zoning portal…

  18. Ernallyn on March 5th, 2009 7:34 am

    My Gorilla is named “HairyDwarf”

    Oh, im an Nelf :P

  20. Shagrat on March 5th, 2009 8:38 am

Gnomes are at the top of my kill list on the rare occasions of PvP I may do. I just love the sound they make when they die. Nelfs are a close second. I’m hard-pressed to kill draenei, especially female ones. /purr

  21. Xaren on March 5th, 2009 11:04 am

all the legolazz night elves are bad… but I’ll go way out of my way to kill off any of Nelf hunter with a name derived from drzzt. Add extra points for dual wielding swords and having a kitty pet who’s name starts with “G”.

  22. Klinderas on March 5th, 2009 11:38 am

    …..

My girlfriend is the OPPOSITE of gorilla.

The night elves shall pay, as the furbolgs have at the hands of Rilgon.

My honour shall be through the ROOF.

  23. SD on March 5th, 2009 12:21 pm

I have a Gorilla. His name is Din.
Also have a Bear. His name is Necessities.

  24. GHOSTKID on March 5th, 2009 12:33 pm

The ground will run red with the blood of Nelfs for this! My gorilla “Magilla” and I are going hunting.

  25. Daudsfall on March 5th, 2009 1:38 pm

Also an Orc Hunter, Gnomes are definitely my favorite snack, er…. I mean definitely at the top of my “Must slaughter” list. Shortly followed by humans. I actually like NElfs, that’s what my alliance main was before I switched…

  26. Bucketface on March 5th, 2009 3:01 pm

    ROFLMAO!!

    Lol NE PWND HORDE!!

    Win!!

  27. Ximcara on March 5th, 2009 4:24 pm

    so…. much…. win….. its… TO EPIC!

  28. terptwerp on March 5th, 2009 4:26 pm

Yah, I play a NE hunter because I secretly dream of being Orlando Bloom with really bad hair extensions.

And speaking of fugly males, um, look no farther that humans…of course, orcs and trolls are pretty much road apples as well.

But hey, to each his or her own :)

  29. Edyion on March 5th, 2009 7:28 pm

I find this incredibly funny however i am sure this nelf will bring much pain to nelfs across the servers…now will be really be the reason? no. But its fun to blame him anyway.

  30. Egamamai on March 5th, 2009 8:32 pm

Pffftt… Maybe I’m jaded, but I’ve seen it all already. Pets on my server named “HordeKillr” or just plain “HORDE” (presumably the Alliance Hunter abuses her pet). This doesn’t really bother me as much as immature behavior by Alliance on our server, who can get away with pretty much anything since they have a 3:1 or 4:1 population advantage over us.

An immature choice of pet name is something that will be in the Hunter’s face every time they use that pet, even if they’re solo and there’s no Horde in sight, so at least I can console myself with the thought that they’ll eventually realize the error of their ways and change the name to something more appropriate. When Alliance act immaturely and get away with it because of extreme faction imbalance, thus smugly walking away with an undeserved sense of superiority and/or accomplishment, that’s something that sticks in my craw.

Having said that, Nelf Hunters are my most hated Race/Class combo in the game, for the reasons others have stated (mostly because they’re Legolas wannabes). I have a Nelf Hunter myself, but I don’t consider it hypocritical because I only use him as an “errand boy” (cross-faction auction transfers, Engineering items, and to harangue Alliance retards who cross too far over the line). Name? Selfhater. :-)

  31. Tinuviel on March 5th, 2009 10:00 pm

Wow…why all the hating on the Night Elf Hunters? Seriously? I’m not sorry that I play a NE Hunter at all. I have been a Warcraft fan since WC II came out, and when WC III came out, I became a BIG fan of the Night Elves. I love the lore and deep history they have. Plus, I really liked Illidan!

I’ve played every class and race to at least level 20. I feel that i’ve given them all a fair shot. Some have impressed me (Hunter, Priest, Pally) and others have not (Warrior, Rogue, Rogue, and Rogue). The others…take ‘em or leave ‘em. I still play a Human Priest, NE Hunter, and I have a Blood Elf Pally. My Rogue is my mule, because I feel that’s about all they’re good for. And all my banks are Warriors…well, because.

No matter what race or class you are, you have to realize that there will ALWAYS be someone better AND worse than you. It’s the way of the game. Good hunting, and may all your hits be crit!

I have a cat Named OutDPSed for when they beat players in raids (Its getting a name change eventually)

Used to have pets named DoomToHorde in “vanilla” (Chocolate > vanilla)

If I played on Horde on your server i would be tempted to duel that guy just to kill his pet thats not a good way (or obviously even descent way) to get horde to help you. I did the Ring event in Icecrown with some horde and my gorilla was the tank (it also tanked the boss before the event gorilla’s FTW) and we had a good time until i had to go.

  33. Ehaka on March 6th, 2009 12:37 am

Not making this up, I promise. On my server, there WAS a cat named IPokeUGetSTDs. My group members and I raced to see who could report it first.

  34. Ed-tron on March 6th, 2009 9:43 am

    ha ha

I’m leveling with a Gorilla, but I cant wait to hit 80 and get my (Humar) cat out of the stable named ChairmanMeow.

    love the blog

  35. Sakeri on March 8th, 2009 5:37 am

I’d like to know why everyone seems to hate Night Elf Hunters and Gnomes. What did we ever do to you?

  36. James on March 10th, 2009 3:04 pm

All i got to say is if I say this guy walking around Northrend I would Lock and Load and then be like……
    BOOM HEADSHOT :3

  37. Juzelle on March 13th, 2009 1:17 pm

    All y’all N’elfs be hatin.

We Horde can’t help it if you – lesser races – are jealous of our pro-hunter racial bonuses

    :3
