If you like the look of Cursed Offspring of Har’koa now, you should take a gander at one on the PTR. AMAZING!
I think a collage with BRK and all of the other hunters that write blogs and their main pets would be a very fitting Hunter tribute. I’d put it as my wallpaper.
Pack of Spirit Beasts (Gondria and any other beasts you’d think would be kick ass looking as spirit beasts like ghost wolf), with Loque at the head of them on top of a stone rise on the crumbling cliffs of the new Ulduar entrance.
And it should contrast very deeply to show the auras in the spirit beasts eyes and darkness should be implemented to describe stormy skies and signal a new time for the hunters. Or something…
Arthas to the left, with Hobbes in BigRedKitty form leaping at him from the right, and in the middle in the background, a certain dwarf shooting at Arthas. Arthas could be a bit off-screen so the focus is mostly on Hobbes.
How about a gorilladin fully geared in Paladin Tier 7.
That’s something that I would consider epic.
The first idea that popped into my head was, “this would make an awesome mousepad.” (do people still use mousepads?) Having 2 or 3 pets from each tree have their portrait on a mousepad would be kind of cool. Exotics ought to have their own category as well. 9×9 prints on a studio canvas frame could also be given away as prizes for BRKs anual naked gnome race/running of the bulls.

Well, I was kind of saddened by the lower quality of the Petopia calendar (no offense to them, I love petopia), so maybe he and you can design a pet calendar that has all the really exotic pets, like spirit beasts, ghost wolves, the hive queen, etc.
Very nice. I like a lot of the ideas. Different prints of different zones in game, and hunters, maybe even lesser classes…or, just the critters in the ‘wild’. Lots of awesome fodder for this guy or gals talent.
Hmm. Come to think of it, let’s sketch that out that a bit:
Background: dark throne room, stone throne, cloth draped around throne.
1. Pet – your choice, on the left
2. Hunter – sitting on throne, a la ending of Conan the Barbarian.
3. Mount – your choice, on the right
4. Weapon – at the hunter’s feet, or hanging vertical, right wall behind throne
5. Trophy – your choice, left wall behind throne
Cliche, or classic? At any rate, those are 5 topics to stir the noggin beyond mere ‘pet and hunter’.
What we *needs*: a BRK travel cup that is appropriately decorated. Something I can keep coffee hot in and brk can keep his foofoo Raspberry Mocha Carmel Lavender Lattes warm in. Not sure that it’d do the artist justice, travel coffee cup with gorilladin/Loq/raptor on it? that cup already runneth over with WIN. Pls run the coffee cup through the ptr process before you order 400 cups that you can’t actually drink from or put in a car cupholder. Maybe the whole Beasty Boys scene, the whole stable.

I endorse Hunter + pet pic’s of epic proportions idea’s. For use as wallpaper and in printable versions for actual pictures, calendars (not a big fan of the petopia one either), mousemats etc!

I have to agree with the one about a hunter trying to tame a resto druid, but then wheres your tank! Maybe a low level looking hunter with a confused look on his face while trying to tame a passing kitty or bear druid and the druid has a *sigh* look on his face.

When I used to PvP as a BM Hunter, I used a Silithid. When I was leveling him up to 80 in my friends heroics (Fully geared badge runs and everyone was fine with it) he earned the nickname ADD bug. So maybe a Silithid with a crazed look on its face with the lolcatcoffee thing
OR in pursuit of a rogue and a web just about to smack the rogue in tha face, maybe with the caption, ” I’m gonna get ya… and eat ya!
Or.. umm…

The majesty of the Gorilla could carry along with the Raptor, Spirit Beats, Hyena, Core Hound.. Your artist is very talented and they would be grand.. then turn them into desktops as well..

The artist here, Thanks for the nice comments and all the cool ideas. What I’m looking for would be ideas for products whether marketable or free. Stuff you’d actually use. Lots of comments do describe just that–but I’m almost looking for a vote or poll of some kind. This stuff takes time and my rent here in CA is kinda high so I’d like make the most of the effort.
Keep in mind that word ‘time’ when you suggest something like “all the classic pets…” The gorilla took like 6 hours (deciding on a pose is usually the hardest part). I’d like to paint all of them too! And Hunters alongside them in cool gear but I’d need to devote some serious time to it and my lady gives me agro if she catches me not paying the bills.
So lets start small and see how it goes. Maybe limit it to 2 character and a background suggestion for now.
Kinda liking the calendar idea or calendar/wallpaper maybe, sent out to BRK fans on the 1st of the month. –Or that would be lots of ’sending out’, maybe posted here on the 1st.

TSHIRTS TSHIRTS AND MORE TSHIRTS. They will sell like bread. One for each hunter pet. Underneath could be written the name of their pet ability, unless you know someone clever enough to come up with a FTW comment on each pet. Just pretty simple design on good quality cotton t-shirts (fitted for girls please!) and maybe also hoodies (can never have enough hoodies!) There’s too many pet skins to choose from, so if it was me, I would do a stylized or black and white design on a pretty background color (green for hunters?) And there’s WAY too many hunter race/gender/gear/weapon/etc. combinations to include a hunter in the picture.

Heh, maybe it’s been thought of before…but how about a T-shirt with Loque and his hunter standing with gun at the ready, with the caption “Loque and Load!” or “Lok and Load!”?
Ok picture the sceen a gorilla grabbing a deviasaur by the mouth (the gorrilas arms behing it). Kicking the deviasaue inbeteween the eyes creating a thunderstomp effect and have the deviasaur grimace in pain. Under the deviasaurs head put a dwaf hunter aiming a gun directly above itself and looking down the barrle of the gun. With a ravasaur (black one) in a trap next to it.
