“Dear BRK, so what do you think of the beta?! Everybody.”
Ain’t tellin’.
“Oh please?”
Nope.
“Aww, c’mon…”
OK, here’s something.
“Yay!”
A group of three PvP-flagged level 71 horde invaded our area: rogue and two shaman. The rogue had 13,000 health… at level 71. We had our Chimaera with us and three Alliance opened up into the rogue. His health barely budged. He two-shot our Bestial-Wrathed Chimaera. He Shadowstepped behind us and five-shot us; we reviewed the combat log to confirm it.
We rez’d and asked the other Alliance to Focus-Fire on one of the healing shaman. They did, and as we hoped, the other shaman started healing the shaman we were all attacking, then we - just BRK - switched to the rogue. Even without Bestial Wrath, we crushed him. That Froststorm Breath spell our Chimaera brings to a party crit for 3500, we burned the rogue’s other 10k down in four seconds, before the shaman saw what was going on.
The rogue didn’t have Justicar or Grand Marshal or any other PvP title to his name, but that doesn’t mean he wasn’t just hiding his title and was sporting all Brutal Gladiator gear. Still, 13k health for a rogue shocked us. The speed with which he dispatched our - albeit level 68 - Chimaera made us cry. That we could still take him out made us breath easier.
We’re trying the Marksman talent tree this weekend. At first glance, it looks like a solid improvement over the BC-version. We’re not going to re-enchant all our gear to go max-RAP, so here’s some screenshots of us in our raiding-gear and the new Marksman tree.

What we need to find out is if the new Marksman talents will make up for the radically weaker pet we’re sporting.
And wow do we miss those extra five pet talent points from the Beast Master 51-point talent! We didn’t realize how much we wanted them until they were gone.
