We did the channel-thing, bumping it to 128. We heard a lot more of the environment and maybe 25-50% more shots, but the shot-sound/shot-graphics were still not totally synced. Better, but not as good as it was.
In case you didn’t notice, we put up a new poll. If you think of a fun poll you’d like to see, slap your idea in the comments. You know the BRK-drill: hunter-esque themes, PG-13 language, coffee and other small distractions as we see fit.
What It’s Like Chatting With TJ:
TJ: I WANNA DO AN INSTANCE!
BRK: OK, let’s do Shattered Halls as that’s the last place I’m not exalted.
TJ: I WANNA DO SHADOW LAB AND GET MY SONIC SPEAR!
BRK: I will never be part of the travesty that is getting a warlock a Sonic Spear.
TJ: /pout /huff
BRK: Shattered Halls
TJ: ok.
ten minutes later…
TJ: WHEN ARE WE GOING TO SHATTERED HALLS?
BRK: As soon as a healer gets on. I’ve got a tank, rogue, you, me, now we just need a healer.
TJ: I WANNA GO NOW!
BRK: We need a healer before we can go, I’m working on it.
TJ: /pout /huff
10 minutes later…
TJ: WHEN ARE WE GOING TO SHATTERED HALLS?
BRK: There are no healers tonight, I don’t think we’re going to go. Cay is on her druid and wants to run a heroic, not heal. I tried, I’m sorry.
TJ: /shriek
BRK: I’m sorry, but we are running Kara tomorrow.
TJ: Oh that’s ok, I didn’t really need to run anything tonight anyway. I’m kinda relieved.
(She then hops on her hunter-alt and plays for hours, completely ignoring Winterspring).

White Whisker - approprate use of “pernicious” earns +5 BRK Cool Points
“Dear BRK … I’m thinking about getting Hope Ender off Kazzak (Guild has him on farm status) and I just got Spiteblade today (and Sunfury Bow… WOOT!). Was wondering what you thought about them if both have 20 agility enchants on them. Baalrock”
That’s a big BRK Negative on the Hope Ender, Baalrock.
Hope Ender
One-Hand Sword
163 - 304 Damage Speed 2.60
(89.8 damage per second)
Equip: Increases attack power by 70.
No stamina, agility, intellect, or sockets. That’s not hunter-loot so let those people can actually use it grab it. Frankly, let your guild shard the thing before you take it. Don’t even take that sword if they throw it at you, it’s junky.
Now your Spiteblade is a different story:
Spiteblade
One-Hand Sword
165 - 308 Damage Speed 2.70
(87.6 damage per second)
+14 Agility
+16 Stamina
Equip: Increases attack power by 46.
This certainly is worth of a “Hunter-Loot!” scream into guild-chat, you bet. Let’s pretend you got two of them and slapped the +20 Agility enchant on both, shall we? What would the total stats be?
+68 Agility
+32 Stamina
+160 RAP [ ( 14 * 2 ) + ( 20 * 2 ) + ( 46 * 2 ) ]
Now how would that compare to Legacy, our two-handed axe of adoration?
Legacy
Two-Hand Axe
319 - 480 Damage Speed 3.50
(114 damage per second)
+40 Agility
+46 Stamina
Equip: Increases attack power by 80.
Slap on our +35 Agility enchant and its stats are:
+75 Agility
+46 Stamina
+155 RAP ( 40 + 35 + 80 )
Because we cannot read and type at the same time, we screwed up our previous recommendation for Marksman hunters to try the dual-wield approach. Nope, go Legacy if at all possible, regardless of spec. Marksman may slap a Savagery enchant for 190 RAP if they so choose.
Legacy: we can’t tell you what it says without screwing while typing, but it’s a nice polearm.
Axe. Whatever.
“Dear BRK, is it okay for me to drop points out of something else for Spirit Bond if I’m primarily using Answers as my farmer. Answers”
Farming is not about DPS, is it. If you like Spirit Bond for farming, go right ahead. If you like Hawk Eye for farming, do it. If you like running a 20/21/20 spec for farming, who are we to argue. Farm away, my friend, and Spirit Bond to your heart’s content.
But if anybody asks if Spirit Bond is good for leveling Fishing, we’re gonna /shriek.
